Hundreds of Iowans joined in a march for gun violence prevention in the wake of several recent heartbreaking events at Des Moines high schools and in Buffalo and Uvalde. Young people led the effort in sending the message that Enough is Enough!
People learned more about the Reckless Gun Amendment proposed to the Iowa Constitution and added their voice in support of gun violence prevention.
In Des Moines, people gathered at the Central Library and marched to the State Capitol. There were also marches planned for other parts of Iowa and around the country.
Interfaith Alliance of Iowa is a co-sponsor of the event.
