The Great Plains Society hosted this event to dismantle monuments to white supremacy and abolish Columbus Day. Co-hosts included Des Moines Mutual Aid, Iowa CCI Action Fund, Vote Mob and AFSC Iowa. Speakers included Alejandro Murguia-Ortiz of AFSC Iowa/Iowa JFON, soon to be Iowa Migrant Movement for Justice (MMJ).
