Iowans gathered for a vigil in front of the main post office in Des Moines to support the United States Postal Service, which is under increasing attacks as the presidential election nears in November. Iowans support maintaining the postal service at full capacity and oppose any delays in mail delivery, as well as any attempts to jeopardize mail-in voting.
