Iowans gathered at the Japanese Bell on the grounds of the Iowa State Capitol for the 75th anniversary of the US bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. People read a statement from the Mayor of Hiroshima, shared personal reflections, tolled the bell 75 times, and laid flowers at the base of the bell. People vowed "Never Again" to nuclear war.
