This training session in advance of the Iowa Caucuses included role playing in which participants were able to caucus for their favorite cookie rather than candidate. The session was mentioned in a New York Times profile of Latina activist and leader Vanessa Marcano-Kelly. It was organized by AFSC Iowa Immigrant Rights Program and co-sponsored by Church World Service, EMBARC, the Refugee Alliance of Central Iowa and the University of Iowa Center for Human Rights.
