The ACLU of Iowa organized a "Restore the Vote Rally" at the statehouse in support of legislative efforts to end Iowa's status as the last state to deny the restoration of voting rights for people convicted of felonies. Speakers at the rally included former incarcerated people and representatives of the NAACP Iowa, Iowa Interfaith Alliance and the League of Women Voters.
