Over 70 Iowa organizations co-sponsored an indigenous-led climate crisis parade in Des Moines two days before the Iowa caucuses. Nearly 1000 people listened to four speakers call for responsible media coverage of the climate crisis and climate justice prior to marching from Cowles Commons to Veterans Memorial Auditorium in downtown Des Moines. A covered wagon representing colonialism was pierced with arrows representing positive values.
